Mr. Schindler’s Background and Experience

EDUCATION: Mr. Schindler received his Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) (Political Science/Public Service) from the University of California, Davis, and his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Schindler is also a licensed Real Estate Agent in the state of California. He also received roughly 500 hours in seminar training in a myriad of subjects (from Financial Statement Accounting to Root Cause Analysis training) while working for the old Chrysler Corporation and the new DaimlerChrysler.
PERSONAL ACTIVITIES: Mr. Schindler, who was a college All-American, Student Athlete of the year and captain of his college’s Water Polo Team, has coached “Masters Swimming” for the past ten years. In his four years at the University of California, Davis, his team was undefeated in the Far Western Conference.
In 1979, Mr. Schindler was inducted into the Sacramento Hall of Fame for Water Polo.
Mr. Schindler currently plays Masters Water Polo for the Tri Valley team. In 2006, his team finished 2nd at Masters Nationals and 4th in the world. at the World Games held last summer at Stanford University.

In 2006, Mr. Schindler competed in the “26th Annual Escape from the Rock Triathlon” in the swim only portion, where, out of the 111 swimmers that attempted the feat in the wetsuit division, he finished 8th overall and first in his age group.
Mr. Schindler also helped form, and served on the board of USFN, an organization chartered to raise money for disadvantaged children and has volunteered his time as an Usher in his church for a number of years.
SPEAKING ACTIVITIES: Mr. Schindler has been a guest speaker at the Berkeley School of Business, and has spoken at DaimlerChrysler meetings as the Marketing Manager for Northern California.
RESIDENCE: Mr. Schindler resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
AUTOMOTIVE BACKGROUND: Mr. Schindler began his automotive career with Chrysler Corporation. Between 1983 and 2003 Mr. Schindler served as District Manager, Truck Marketing Manager, Distribution Manager, Business Management Manager and Dealer Development Manager.
While working for the factory, Mr. Schindler held eight different job positions all of which entailed heavy interaction with the dealer body. In his various positions: he acted as a factory/dealer liason where his mission was to increase dealer sales and profits; he created and managed marketing events such as Auto Shows, Rodeos, Dealer sales events, and Salesman/Salemanager sales programs; he held training seminars on products; he held profit development conference's with dealers to improve the dealer's bottom line; he monitored and allocated the Distribution of cars and trucks to 127 Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep dealers, and for the last 10 years of his tenure he oversaw all the Franchise Placement activity of Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep stores in Northern, California.

Mr. Schindler also prepared financial forecasts, costs analysis on building projects, and made recommendations to National based upon profitability. He prospected for dealer candidates and new store locations. He reviewed and analyzed marketing and financial data to determine the acceptability of a buy/sell, where to open or close stores, ensuring that management, capital, and facilities met factory standards.
Mr. Schindler was responsible for completing dozens of Project 2000 combinations and wrote the initial Project Alpha plan for Northern California. During his tenure in this position he monitored the creation of (27) new facilities from start to completion, ensuring that buildings met DCX requirements and had a high potential for profitability.
In addition to the above, Mr. Schindler processed New Dealer Agreement Packages, handled incentive and invoicing problems, Financial Statement issues, satellite, DIAL, holdback, sales clubs and Dealer Identity questions.
